This is an updated version of the more well-known CHADS2 Score for stroke risk for patients with atrial fibrillation. Some authors have recommended using this score in conjunction with the HAS-BLED Score to help determine if anticoagulation is in the best interest of a particular patient.

Points are simply added; points awarded is noted above, next to "Yes."
