New Features on MDCalc, October 2009
Thanks for using the site and emailing in your requests/suggestions. Here's a new way to search on the site, as well as some updates to the equations and formulas list:
- New! The The Glasgow-Blatchford Score provides an evaluation of patients with upper GI bleeding.
- The Pregnancy Due Dates page will now allow you to calculate a gestational age by due date instead of last period
- There's now a Sodium Correction Rate in Hyponatremia formula to correct sodium levels appropriately
- For the APACHE II Score you can now enter the temperature in either Fahrenheit or Celcius and it'll auto convert it
- CHADS2 now has updated stroke rates based on the most recent Chest guidelines
- The Serum Osmolarity/Osmolality calculator now includes the optional correction for ethanol
- A bunch of labeling errors corrected for our non-US colleagues (sorry for taking so long, rest of the world!)
As always, I welcome your feedback and suggestions!
