The Sheiner-Tozer Equation is Used for an Accurate Estimate:
Corrected Phenytoin = Measured Phenytoin Level / ( (adjustment x albumin) + 0.1)

Adjustment = 0.2; In patients with Creatinine Clearance < 20, adjustment = 0.1.
