RIFLE Criteria for Acute Kidney Injury (AKI)
Classifies severity of acute kidney injury, similar to AKIN Classification.
Note: the original paper refers to "acute renal failure", but the generally-accepted term currently is "acute kidney injury", which is reflected in this calculator.
Advice
Remember that AKI may be present even with “normal” serum creatinine, if GFR is decreased, or if creatinine is significantly elevated above baseline.
