    About the Creator

    Steven D. Wexner, MD, PhD (Honorary) FACS, FRCS, is the chairman of the department of colorectal surgery and the director of the Digestive Disease Center at Cleveland Clinic Florida. He also led the development of the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer National Accreditation Program for Rectal Cancer (NAPRC). Dr. Wexner’s primary research is focused on laparoscopic and robotic colorectal surgery, surgical oncology, and inflammatory bowel disease.
