    About the Creator

    Gordon P. Buzby, MD, (d. 2003) was director of the Surgical Metabolic Unit at the Philadelphia Veteran's Administration Medical Center in Pennsylvania. He also served on the faculty of the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Buzby’s primary research was focused on total parenteral nutrition in surgical patients.
