Calculates stroke risk for patients with atrial fibrillation; similar to the CHA₂DS₂-VASc Score but without considering sex.

Oral anticoagulation is recommended to reduce stroke risk.

Consider using a bleeding risk score (e.g., ATRIA, DOAC, HAS-BLED, HEMORR₂HAGES, ORBIT) to assess bleeding risk.

Score of 1: Use clinical judgment to weigh the risks and benefits of anticoagulation.

Score of 0: Anticoagulation is not recommended.
