Advice
  • An item score of 0 implies no action needed for that item category, 1 equates to a recommendation of needs non-urgent action and community resource education, and 2 indicates that immediate action and referral is needed.
  • Referral for a specialized mental health assessment should also be considered if the total sum score is ≥8 or the “Suicidality” item is rated as a 2.
